12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
Greetings Harvard alumni and friends,
Join us on August 21 at the HBS/Harvard Virtual August Lunch Club and enjoy a live chat with fellow alumnus and author Eric B. Schultz. Eric's topic at our virtual luncheon will be 'Innovation on Tap: Stories of Entrepreneurship from the Cotton Gin to Broadway's Hamilton.' Innovation on Tap captures three centuries of innovation in America through the eyes of 25 entrepreneurs - living and departed - who have gathered to "talk shop" in an imaginary bar-room. Eric will present an overview of the book and feature a handful of stories as "mini case reviews" that offer lessons about entrepreneurship in the 21st century.
Eric has a degree in history from Brown University and he earned his MBA ('83) from Harvard. He is co-author of Food Foolish: The Hidden Connection Between Food Waste, Hunger, and Climate Change, and King Philip's Ware: The History and Legacy of America's Forgotten Conflict, and author of Weathermakers to the World.
The HBS/Harvard 'Lunch Club' is an informal virtual lunch gathering via Zoom, and it is an opportunity to talk, network and exchange ideas in a relaxed, virtual atmosphere. There is no need to RSVP for the HBS/Harvard Luncheons - Just have your cold beverage and sandwich nearby, and call into the Zoom lunch meeting on August 21st. Here are the details:
