Aristotle’s Politics – Book III
It is my honor to invite all our Crimson friends to our Summer 2021 Harvard Club of San Antonio Book Club series “Re-examining Meritocracy: Sandel v Aristotle v Confucius.”
Following our exploration of the Stoic philosophers in the fall, and our careful reading of Pascal in spring, last week we had a lively discussion of Michael Sandel’s The Tyranny of Merit, and next month and in September we will examine Aristotle’s and Confucius’s respective thoughts on meritocracy, too.
