The Harvard Club of San Antonio invites you to
Looking Back (and South): Thirty Years of Collecting Pablo Neruda
— HCSA MEMBERS ONLY —
Bill Fisher is a native San Antonian, an attorney, and last, but not least, a book collector. He has been collecting Latin American literature for 30 years--since his time as an exchange student in Santiago, Chile. While there, he fell in love with the poetry of Pablo Neruda and has doggedly pursued his works since then. Bill has lectured on Neruda at The Library of Congress, and his Neruda collection has been exhibited at SMU’s DeGolyer Library.
Bill will talk about his adventures in collecting Neruda, with images from his collection, plus a few books to view in person.
