The Harvard Club of San Antonio has organized a tour of Hemisfair Park for club members on Tuesday, February 27 from 4 to 5:30 PM. The 15 acre park got its start in 1968 as the site of America's first official Worlds Fair, and it's located just a few steps from the River Walk. It's one of the most popular green spaces in our city! Hemisfair offers unique park amenities and green spaces, vibrant cultural events, diverse food and beverage options and so much more. Harvard Club members and their guests will enjoy a private tour of the recent renovations, and learn about plans for additional progress! It is a limited space event and we were able to recently increase the maximum number of participants for the tour to 30. If you would like to join us on the special tour, please register soon.
FREE PARKING & TOUR MEET-UP LOCATION / TIME
- Please park in the Hemisfair Garage located at 623 Hemisfair Blvd. Bring your parking ticket with you and Hemisfair staff will validate your ticket. Below is a map that marks Hemisfair parking, Kampmann House and Dough Pizzeria Napoletana.
- The Harvard group will meet in front of the Kampmann House located at 630 E. Nueva. There will be a few Hemisfair staff at this location ready to greet you and validate parking when you arrive. Please arrive on time so the group is not kept waiting.
NO-HOST PIZZA DINNER Afterwards
Following the tour, there will be a no host dinner at nearby Dough Pizzeria Napoletana, 518 S. Alamo St, at 6 PM. This is a two-part registration: register your attendance for the Hemisfair tour at the above link, and register for the 'no host' dinner at Dough Pizzeria Napoletana if you would like to join the group afterwards.
